Prison

View of the traditional site of the prison where Paul and Silas were kept (Acts 16:22–40). This crypt is located near the northwest corner of the forum on the north side of both the Via Egnatia and the modern road. The tradition as to this being Paul’s prison goes back to the fifth century A.D.
