Two Capitals

Two Capitals

View of two Composite Capitals, among (I suspect) over a dozen, that are scattered about the temple complex at Omrit.

Note the acanthus leaves, typical of Corinthian Capitals, and the volutes (scrolls), that are typical of Ionic Capitals.  Their combination indicates that these are from the Roman Period and are called "composites."
