View looking southwest from the Beth Netofa ridge down at Khirbet Qana - New Testament Cana of Galilee

Above and to the left (south) of Cana is the very fertile Beth Netofa Valley and the modern Israeli fields are clearly indicated.  Note also in the lower right quadrant of the image the Bedouin tents.  The Bedouin actually have a number of sheepfolds on the slopes of the Khirbet.

 

This picture was taken during the later winter months after the winter rains had fallen.
