This Centaur (half man, half horse) is among the many mosaics found in the "Nile Festival House."  The horse is "rearing up while holding a shield or dish with a Greek inscription: 'Helpful God' (ΘΕΟΣ ΒΟΗΟΣ).  Similar inscriptions have been found in Palestine in both Jewish and Christian contexts so this inscription cannot help identify the inhabitants of the building."  (Netzer and Weiss, p. 42).
