Theater Reconstruction 1

View looking northeast.  On the left side of the image is the stage and the scane frone.  On the right side are two entrances—one to the stage area, the other to the orchestra area.

Note the reconstructed columns and the Corinthian capitals.

The theater was built in the second century A.D. upon an earlier first century theater.  It seated 7,000 persons.
