View looking northeast at the three tiers (terraces) of the Northern Palace.  In the top center is the Upper Tier, below it, with the fenced path leading to it, is the Middle Tier, and below that, just left of center is the Lower Tier/Terrace.

From the middle right, sweeping left, note the openings in the rock.  The black openings are very large cisterns that were filled with water from an aqueduct.

In the lower-left are four additional openings to cisterns, that were fed by another branch of the aqueduct.
