Interior Passage

View from within the tomb of Jesus looking east, through the low doorway into the "Chapel of the Angel."   The pedestal in the center of the Chapel of the Angel is said to support a portion of the rolling stone that was used to close the tomb.

Note how the iron clips help to hold the marble slabs together.
