Noah’s Ark Mosaic View of a portion of the mosaic that is in front of the main altar of the Chapel of Saint Helena.
This mosaic depicts famous churches that are in Armenia. Pride of place is this portion of the mosaic that depicts Noah’s Ark (on Mt. Ararat in Armenian territory [actually in Turkey]), the rainbow, and a church that commemorates the whole event (Genesis 6–9).
