Crusader Church Interior

View of the interior of the small twelfth-century A.D. Crusader Church that was built over a portion of the dam that separates the northern and southern pools.

Two levels of the church are visible in the image.  In the lower right portion of the image, people are standing on the lower level looking down into the cistern below.   In the upper half of the image, the apse of the main floor of the church is visible.
