West Terrace

View looking down and north at the heads from the statues that were located on the West Terrace of Nemrut Dagi.

Note the five heads (see the following images) from the five statues on the western terrace and the two eagle heads.

The row of statue bases (not visible in the image) on the western terrace follows the order of those on the eastern terrace,  however on the western, the statue bases are not as well–preserved, BUT the heads are much better preserved—as are additional reliefs.

In the background, note the hills that are much lower than Nemrut Dagi.
