View of one of the finely carved stone fragments from the theater at Myra.  Note its yellow color, indicating that it has only recently been excavated and that it has not been exposed for hundreds of years to the elements.

The head might be that of Medusa.  The head is about 18 inches [45 cm.] high.  Note the flower in the upper right, the rolling wave design as well as the ivy leaves (carved on both sides of the head).
