Treatment Center 1

View looking south over the top of the remains of the Late Roman circular building located at the southeast corner of the Asclepion — the one where the underground tunnel begins/ends. This building originally had two stories. The bottom one is almost completely preserved, but the top one is missing. This building is sometimes incorrectly called the temple of Telesphorus. In some way it was used in the healing process of "patients" who came to the Asclepion.
