Roman Dwelling

This picture is of the excavations of a Roman House.  Although the details are difficult to discern, note the usage of stones, spolia, and mud-brick in its construction.  This house is located along—south of—the old Izmir to Sardis highway, and to the south of the Synagogue/Gymnasium complex.
