Reconstructed Roman Bath Interior

This picture is of the interior of a modern reconstruction of a Roman Bath—mini sized!  This "hot tub" is located on the west wall of the bath.

After its construction, using traditional Roman methods, it actually was used!  This bath is located along—south of—the old Izmir to Sardis highway on the west side of the Pactolus River.
