West Theater and Hierapolis

Hierapolis is located about 4.7 mi. [7.5 km] north of Laodicea.  Between Laodicea and Hierapolis is a portion of the Lycus Valley.  In the foreground on the right side of the image portions of the unexcavated seating area and orchestra area are visible.
