Wine Vase

A bronze wine vase that was found in one of the Terrace Houses at Ephesus.  It dates to 470 BC.

Notice the tri-fold design of the rim and the exquisite detail and coloring.  Given its age, it may have been an heirloom that was handed down within a family.
