View looking south at the remains of a circular structure that is said to be the Tomb of Luke (author of the gospel and Acts of the Apostles).   At one time this structure may have served as a church.

Note that the following people are associated with the city of Ephesus:  Paul, Pricilla, Aquila, Apollos,  John, Mary (the mother of Jesus), Luke, and Timothy.
