This statue of Hera was found at Aspendos.  It is made of white marble and is 6ft. tall.  Hera was the wife of Zeus.  She wears a himation over a thin chiton and the outline of her body is visible.  Her head, left arm, and right hand are missing—but otherwise, the statue is complete.

Hera was the legitimate wife of Zeus and was the chief goddess.  She protected married and honorable women, but because Zeus betrayed her so frequently, she was also grumbling, jealous, and stubborn.

Two well-preserved Temples of Hera are located at Paestum in Magna Graecia—Here and Here.

Another is located at Olympia in Greece—near the famous Temple of Zeus.
