Agora and Areopagus

View looking northwest from the acropolis.  The barren rock formation, just left of center, is the “Areopagus” (= “Mars Hill) and the green area on the right (north) side of the image is the area of the ancient Greek agora.  Note on the far right side of the image the Hephaestion (a temple) is visible.
