Courtyard

 View looking down at the northwest portion of the main courtyard of the Monastery of  St. John the Theologian.

The door right of center is the door through which most enter the monastery.  The stairs on the left (west) side of the image lead up to monks’ quarters.

Notice the stone floor of the courtyard and the troughs slightly left of center.
