Holy Sepulcher

Holy Sepulcher

View looking north. This entrance was constructed during the Crusader Period (inaugurated in 1149).

To the left of the main entrance rises the bell tower of the church. The entrance on the right is blocked, but after entering the left doorway, if you turn immediately right and ascend a flight of steep steps, you arrive at the site of Calvary. By turning left, you come to the traditional site of the tomb of Jesus.
