View looking east at the mosaic on the gable of the Church of All nations.

The details of the mosaic are clearer if you enlarge the image.  Visible is Jesus praying in the garden.  Above him is a plaque containing the Greek letters alpha and omega—the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet (see Revelation 22:13).

Below the mosaic is the Latin version of Hebrew 5:7 “During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.”
