This statue of Tyche was discovered in pieces at Perge.  She is the goddess of fate, luck, and unexpected success.  The statue was 5ft. 5in. tall.  The Roman equivalent was the goddess Fortuna.

Tyche is depicted as a tall young woman.  She wears a high cap on her head on which are carved the walls of the city of Perge.  She was the protector of the city of Perge.  Her curly hair is parted into two and twisted at the back.  She wears a chiton and a himation.
