Vineyard

View of a relatively well-tended vineyard (left side of image) in the Hill Country of Judah.  Notice how the Palestinian farmer (and his family!) has cleared the field of stones (using them to build the retaining wall and a watchtower) and has planted choice vines – that he maintains by pruning them.  In contrast, on the right side of the image, above the retaining wall an untended field full of brown weeds is visible.  See Isaiah 5:1-7.
