The Three Graces were goddesses who were symbols of beauty, the arts, and fertility and were companions of the god Apollo. The statue was discovered on the Caelian Hill in Rome. It dates to the second century AD. The three heads were created and added by the sculptor Nicolas Cordier in AD 1609.
