View of a life-size Silver Bull that was found in a sacred pit near the Stoa of the Athenians. It was made out of silver sheets with some body parts—hooves, horns, etc.—made out of gold. These had been attached by silver nails to a copper frame.
Dates to the middle of the sixth century B.C.
