View looking northeast along the southern retaining wall of the Temple of Apollo. In the center of the image three columns of the temple are visible and behind them the Phaedriades Cliffs. The retaining wall is made up of roughhewn limestone blocks. The polygonal wall is located to the right (south) of this picture and supports the terrace from which this picture was taken.
In the lower right portion of the image the low line of hewn stones, perpendicular to the southern wall, is where the Kassotis spring was located.
