At the Isthmian games a wreath of the branches of a pine tree (sometimes wilted[!] celery) was awarded to the winner, while at Olympia a wreath of olive leaves went to the victor.
Note the ribbons that hung down the back of the head of the victor.

There were four panhellenic games: those at Nemea, Delphi, Isthmia, and (especially) at Olympia.
