Detailed view of a “Pergamene Capital” found at the Stoa of Eumenes II (197-159 B.C.) – king of Pergamum. There are so many “Pergamene features” (capitals, masons marks, etc.) to this stoa, that some researchers have suggested that some elements of this stoa may have been constructed at Pergamum and shipped to Athens!!
