Triclinium/Synagogue 2

During the Herodian period, the room served as a "Triclinium" — a dining room with couches. But many have suggested that the Jewish Zealots, who occupied the Herodium during the First Revolt (A.D. 66-70) added the benches and turned the room into a synagogue.
