View looking north at the 1:50 scale model of Second Temple (NT) Jerusalem as it was on the eve of its destruction in A.D. 70 by the Romans.
On the right (east) side of the image are the Temple Mount and a valley (the Kidron) that forms the lower eastern boundary of the image. To the left of the Kidron and this side of the Temple Mount, is the Old Ancient Core of Jerusalem, and at the bottom of the image is where the pool of Siloam was located.
The full length of the southern city wall is clearly visible at the bottom of the picture. The red-roofed buildings left of the center is the "newer" section of Jerusalem where the elite lived.
