Four Anchors

A view of four anchors that are on display in the museum at Caesarea Maritima.

From left to right: an Iron Anchor (1st century BC), a Stone Anchor (with modern wood and rope, 1st century BC onward), and a reconstructed Wooden Anchor (the iron anchor stock is original, 2nd century BC).
