View from the Mount of Olives

View from the Mount of Olives looking west at the Old City of Jerusalem.  From right to left notice the golden dome of the Dome of the Rock and the gray dome of the el–Aqsa Mosque.  Also visible on the left side of the picture are Mazar's excavations below the el–Aqsa and above it to the left the white dome of the Hurva Synagogue is visible.  Above that notice the King David Hotel and just beyond that the tower of the YMCA.

Also visible in the picture, in the Old City, is the bell tower of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and to the right of it the two gray domes of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
