View of the "drum" and "hat" of the Tomb of Absalom. Note that it is composed of individual blocks of limestone and is "Syrian" in style. Also visible in the lower portion of the image are the "Greek" elements of the tomb: the columns capped by Ionic style capital, and the triglyphs and metopes.
The hole in the lower portion of the image was punched into the tomb at some point in its history and is not original.
