IX Entrance

View looking west at station nine on the Via Dolorosa.

The column with the cross, just left of center, commemorates Jesus falling for the third time.  The entrance to the Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate is clearly visible.

The green door on the left (south) leads to a roof area of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher where there is an Ethiopian Monastery.
