View looking east. The women's area of prayer is separated from the Men's Prayer area by a five foot high barrier (mehitza) visible on the left side of the photo.
The entrance onto the old Temple Platform, called by the Moslems the "Haram esh-Sharif," is through the green door directly in the upper right portion of the image. A pathway leads up to this door from the right side of the photo.
