Southern Pool 1

View looking northwest at the “dam” that separates the northern from the southern pool.  This view is that of the northern portion of the southern pool.

In the lower right side of the image the depth of the pool is clearly visible.  On the left side a tall arch is visible.  This arch was one of many that supported a large Byzantine Church that was built over the pool.
