View to Northwest

View looking northwest from Jezreel.  To the right (east) of the center is the Hill of Moreh.  The white buildings on its lower left slope mark the site of biblical Shunem (the home of the woman that Elisha assisted [2 Kings 4:8-37]).  The valley on this side of the Hill of Moreh is the beginning of the Harod Valley that slopes from left (west) to right (east).  In the far distance (on the left) is the "Nazareth Ridge"—the southern edge of Lower Galilee.
