Citadel

View looking west at the citadel of Sepphoris.  In the center of the image, the white square is a Crusader/Arab building that crowns the citadel.

One of the ancient names was “Zippori” (“bird”)—possibly because it appears “perched” on the top of a low, but prominent hill.
