View of the outstanding female head located at the north end of the triclinium.
This head is part of the outer band of the mosaic that contains 22 medallions of intertwined acanthus leaves that contain a variety of figures. It actually may be a representation of Aphrodite.
Above the head, partially visible are scenes from the life of Dionysus.
