Harbor — Greek Orthodox

View looking north at a portion of the reconstructed harbor at the Greek Orthodox site of Capernaum. The Orthodox Church is located about 150 yards [140 m.] east of the more frequently visited Franciscan site.  The salmon-colored domes of the Church of the Twelve Apostles are visible behind the trees in the upper left portion of the image.

The harbor of Capernaum was in fact spread out along the northern shore and traces of it have been found along with stone weights that were used to weight the fishing nets.
