Rock Outcropping

This outcropping of rock is called Mensa Christi (“Table of Christ”).  It is “traditionally” believed that here Jesus prepared a breakfast of fish for his disciples (John 21:9).  At certain periods this site was also known as “the Place of the Coals.”
