Plain of Kedesh 1

View looking east northeast at the Plain of Kedesh that is located in eastern Upper Galilee.  Note the fertility of the plain.  This picture was taken in May, as the summer season is beginning.  The Israelis irrigate portions of the plain—thus the green patches in the image.

The antiquity site of Kedesh is located on the right (south) side of the image.  In fact, on the very right side of the image the Temple of Kedesh is actually visible.  The site is actually on the northwest side of the plain.
