En Avedat Canyon 1

View looking northeast from near the beginning of the En Avedat Canyon.  The upper portion of the canyon is composed of hard Eocene limestone, while the lower portion is made up of softer clays and marls.

In the lower portion of the image is a grove Mesopotamian Poplar trees.
