View looking east up the bed of the Nahr el–Kalb. Just below the center of the image not the one and one half arches, of three, of a thirteen century bridge, that was rebuilt in the fourteenth century of Saifi Itmish and restored in the nineteenth century.
A small amount of water flows in a depression on the left (north) side of the image—note the green reeds. This picture was taken in October before the winter rain began.
All but one of the inscriptions are on the hill (cliff) on the right (south) side of the wadi.
