The head of the life–size statue of Claudia Antonia, the daughter of the Roman Emperor Claudius (r. A.D. 41–54) that was found in the triclinium of the Domus Romana.
The find indicates that the elite owner of this "house" was very rich and wished to be associated with the royal family.
