The floor of this Villa is the lowest level reached in the archaeology excavations. It is about 12 feet below most of the finds that are visible in the Museum. It was used between the 2nd and 4th centuries AD. The excavation was limited to the triclinium (banquet hall). The central mosaic carries depictions of pagan myths.
The Villa is known as "the G2 House," and the central mosaic is called the "Pegasus Mosaic."
