View looking east at the east rock rock carving of Sharruma and Tudhaliya IV.
The figure of the sun god Sharruma dominates the scene. He is striding from right to left (south to north). His conical hat is clearly visible as is his face and right, outstretched, arm.
Sharruma has put his left arm around the Hittite king Tudhaliya IV (1250–1225 B.C.) who is represented as only shoulder high (his face is not really visible). The garment of Tudhaliya dominates the lower right portion of the image.
At the bottom of the image the feet of Sharruma and Tudhaliya, with their upturned pointed shoes, are clearly visible.
In the upper right portion of the image, to the right of the conical hat of Sharruma the titles of the Hittite king Tudhaliya IV are represented in Hittite.
