View looking east at a carving of a “cartouche” bearing the name of the Hittite king Tudhaliya IV.
The relief is a pictogram of a mountain god in a ruffled skirt and high hat, carrying a mace in his right raised hand.
Above the god is a winged sun disk. On the right and left of the sun god are daggers resting on blossoms (barely visible). On the exterior, on both sides, are cones under volutes. All of these combined spell out, in Hittite hieroglyphics, the name of Tudhaliya IV.
