View looking northeast at the nymphaeum that is located on the north side of Pisidian Antioch. These are just the foundations of what had been a monumental fountain that had been fed by the aqueduct that brought water from a spring 6 mi. [10 m.] distant from Pisidian Antioch.
This portion of the nymphaeum is the pool and measured 70 x 23 ft. [21 x 7 m.] and had an average depth of 5 ft. [1.5 m.].
Note the mountains in the background. This picture was taken in April.
